SNAP (Special Needs Assistant Personnel) Training 2024
Special Needs programs rely heavily upon the elite teenage campers we call SNAPs. As a SNAP, you’ll extend a stable arm to a camper walking, row campers in a boat, help campers carry trays full of delicious food, play games, and more. After mandatory training, SNAPs may be asked to return (at no additional cost) to assist with one or more Special Needs sessions. For the safety of our vulnerable campers, individuals seeking to be a SNAP must be fully vaccinated.

What is Tiered Pricing?
Summer camp has great value in the life of a child. Genuine community is experienced, ministry to the whole person takes place, relationships are built with God and others, memories and major life commitments are made, and tomorrow’s leaders are developed today. UNYAC Camps are also a great value! We are proud to say that all of our camp programs are priced under the industry average price of $710.00. And now, our brand new Tiered Pricing is intended to help families recognize how much a week at camp costs and then select the level of payment that is most appropriate for their circumstances. Each family may freely choose to participate at the Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 level; and every child will receive the same camp experience regardless of the level chosen.
How it Works
Tier 1 : TRUE COST OF CAMP
For families who are blessed to be able to pay Tier 1 pricing, this level constitutes the true cost of camp including all aspects of maintaining facilities in good condition, insurance, utilities, etc.
Tier 2 : DIRECT COST OF CAMP
Electing to pay the Tier 2 price helps cover the direct cost of a week of summer camp including program costs, food, summer staff and camp administration.
Tier 3 : PARTIALLY SUBSIDIZED COST
Every effort is made to keep the cost of camp as affordable as possible. At this level, every camper’s fee is partially subsidized by generous donations to the CRM and each sites Scholarship Fund. Additional scholarships are also available to help make the cost of camp affordable for those who have a true financial need.

Summer Camp Cancellation/ Refund Policy
A full refund will be given in cases of documented medical concern or due to a death in the family that prohibits attendance. More than three weeks before the camp session, partial refunds (less the $75 deposit) will be offered. Full balances are due for any cancellation within three (3) weeks of the start of the session without documented reasons mentioned above. There is no refund once camp starts. There is no fee adjustment if a camper arrives late or leaves early.

Helping Hands Camp 2024
Special preparations go into this week for persons with physical challenges and visual impairments. Whether you use a wheelchair, cane, walker, or crutches, you’ll still get to go for a stroll (or roll!) through the woods, have a cookout, and lots more! A higher staff to camper ratio of 1:2 allows for more personal attention, however we’re only able to accommodate persons who need minimal assistance with toileting and transferring and who do not require one-on-one care or constant direct-line-of-sight supervision. Please note this is the only session when we are able to accommodate campers in wheelchairs. Space is limited.

Senior High Change Makers 2024 NEW!
Camp has long been a peaceful place to escape the struggles of life. But what if the rest of the world were more like camp? At Change Makers Camp we’ll have a chance to release our anger and frustration with the way things are and then work together to make things better. As we read in the bible, “All of creation waits breathless with anticipation for the revelation of God’s children.” (Romans 8:18-19) Creation is waiting for us to embrace God’s vision for the world and make it so! Being changemakers means embracing the slower pace of camp, letting lose & having fun, while learning how we can bring transformation to our communities and the world. Not only will we get to do all our favorite camp activities but we’ll get to practice and plan actions for “being the change we wish to see in the world”. If you’re feeling hopeless or depressed about life or the state of the world, Change Makers Camp is for you!
