The Great Outdoors
Attention young men! Come to the Highlands for a week of fun and fellowship. Go fishing, canoeing, mountain biking, and test your aim at the archery and sling shot range. Learn how to cook your own food over the fire, build a shelter in the woods and sleep out under the stars. Come experience God’s great creation and how we can care for it!
Note: The Highlands is located just across Rt. 38 from the main entrance to Casowasco. Highlands campers live in our NEW! Yurts, have access to privies throughout the day, and use a nearby shower house each evening. Campers will hike to and or from main site several times during the week. Other transportation may include a van, bus, or wagon ride. Highlands programs may also participate in mountain biking if mentioned above. To participate in mountain biking, campers are required to supply their own multi-speed bike. We highly recommend they also bring their own helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads. We have a limited supply available but cannot guarantee quantity or adequate sizes.

A Work In Progress is a project that hasn’t quite been finished yet. Some artists work on a creation their whole lives. Just like a beautiful piece of artwork, we are works in progress and God is our Artist. Come work on your own masterpieces as we learn about drawing, painting, candlemaking, and more! Along the way we’ll explore how we are being crafted in God’s own image, and being transformed from a Work In Progress into God’s own masterpiece!
